New Cellarscape E.P. – Live at Siren FM: The 2011 Acoustic SessionCellarscape is a music project from composer/songwriter Paul Terry. Live at Siren FM: The 2011 Acoustic Session is Cellarscape's seventh record, and the first new release since 2017's acclaimed album Exo Echo. (After the cover art, read about how the previously lost recording of this radio session was found this year...) The master recordings of this 2011 live radio session were thought to be lost. But, a few months ago, Paul found a back-up of the original, two-microphone recordings on an old stored-away laptop. The timing turned out to be perfect... 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of Paul's indie label SkyBabyRecords through which he releases all his music projects and soundtracks. This celebratory year has already seen the release of Paul's new instrumental project Aptøsrs and its critically acclaimed debut album Elders – a collision of drums, cinematic synthwave, and lead bass guitar, expertly mixed by Adam Noble (Biffy Clyro, Paul McCartney). While Aptøsrs musically represents where Paul is going, this unearthed Cellarscape radio session perfectly echoes where Paul began... decades ago, Cellarscape debuted as live solo acoustic shows. This year, Live at Siren FM: The 2011 Acoustic Session was beautifully mixed & mastered by MPSE award winner Tony Lewis. His approach celebrates the grit and simplicity of the live session's two-microphone capture while accentuating its intimacy. Tracks include a semi-acapella performance of 'Static' and a stripped-back version of 'Blanket', a song Paul wrote for feature film The Wake. The 4-track E.P. includes the full live acoustic session: Live at Siren FM: The 2011 Acoustic Session is OUT NOW worldwide on all music platforms.
